The AgustaWestland AW109, originally the Agusta A109, is a lightweight, twin-engine, eight-seat multi-purpose helicopter designed and initially produced by the Italian rotorcraft manufacturer Agusta. It was the first all-Italian helicopter to be mass-produced. Its production has been continued by Agusta's successor companies,formerly AgustaWestland, merged into the new Finmeccanica since 2016, presently Leonardo.

The AMX International AMX is a ground-attack aircraft jointly developed by Brazil and Italy. The AMX is designated A-11 Ghibli by the Italian Air Force and A-1 by the Brazilian Air Force. The Italian name, "Ghibli", is taken from the hot dry wind of the Libyan Desert.

The A-29 Super Tucano carries a wide variety of weapons, including precision-guided munitions, and was designed to be a low-cost system operated in low-threat environments.

Evolution: Over the decades, the manufacturer name changed from Aérospatiale to Eurocopter and finally to Airbus Helicopters. Since 2015, the latest version of the AS350 B3e has been rebranded as the Airbus H125.
